In true tifi fashion…

I waited till the last minute to make teacher gifts and now? I don’t feel like it. Lucky for me, I found this link via designmom a week or two ago. I’m going to use one of these ideas for inexpensive but (hopefully) memorable gifts. I’ll just make something small and pretty to go along with them. And I’ll feel better.

Update: Tada! Key fobs for the “Key To Success” sentiment

I’m doing teacher gifts today, too. We just bought those mugs you can draw on. And I’m making scones.

Cute ideas!

Wow, those are great ideas.  I would have liked to get them!

oh, and last year, I bought the simple tote bags from the German grocery stores and Garrett drew on them. Teachers can’t have too many tote bags! :P

I know, but I already made them bags for Christmas, didn’t want to give the same gift AGAIN, lol. I’m going to make them keyfobs and use the cute little “key to success” or whatever phrase.

Those are great!

How cute! Do all parents do teacher gifts??

Cute!

And, of course I didn’t think about a gift when I was buying stuff for the water party yesterday. It’s kind of late to do anything now, considering we have an hour to get to school. Oh well, I’m not going to beat myself up. I can write the teacher a letter and know it’s just as appreciated as anything I could have made.

Incredible! I need to make those for myself. That DesignMom link opened up a whole new can of worms for me.

I love these key fobs. What a clever idea. I really wanted to share this sentiment with my son’s teachers but didn’t have a cute key ring idea —THANKS. I had thought about painting one of those IKEA key boxes and hanging notes cut out in the shapes of keys inside—but not IKEA where I live. I also thought about a beaded key fob but since I don’t normally bead it would have taken too long to bring me up to speed on that craft!
Thanks again!
